The Truth about DirectMail.

We are happy to answer your questions about church direct mail. If you dont find an answer below, please give us a call at (800) 221-5161.

The Program
  • QHow is your approach to direct mail unique?
    HideAnswer
    A

Purpose… We don’t believe in doing the same mailings everyone else does at the same times of the year. We don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to direct mail. We do believe that your church has something unique to offer people, and we believe in helping you communicate that “something” well.

Are you planning a sermon series that will be significant for people in your community? Strategically themed mail can help recreate people’s perceptions of how relevant your church’s message is to their lives.

Are you a new church plant? Specific direct mail strategies are very effective in establishing an awareness for new church communities.

Simple… d2 direct mail solutions help you avoid not only the time and energy of producing your own mailers, but also the mail process itself. Once your cards are approved and printed, we take care of getting them in the mail to your community. You never have to set foot in a post office, so your focus stays on message and ministry.

Quality… Direct mail should be strategic in visually and verbally communicating your unique identity in the community. d2 direct mail pieces stand out in the crowd because they are 35 percent larger (11” x 5.67”) than what you’ll find elsewhere. We produce the largest cards possible without increasing postage prices – like smaller mailers, our pieces still mail at 6.7 cents each.

Mailing
  • QWill you provide a mailing list for me?
    HideAnswer
    A

YES. With the Customization Plus Mail Service Option we will create targeted mailing lists that you can customize by ethnicity, geography, income, and more. You will provide us with a little information about the area or household types that you would like to reach and we will take care of the rest.

  • QDo I have to go to the Post Office to mail my cards?
    HideAnswer
    A

No. For churches and organizations with nonprofit status, d2 handles the mailing process. Once your pieces are approved and printed, we personally deliver them to our local post office. They are cleared for mailing and then shipped to your local post office, then distributed from there. You never have to touch the boxes of mailers or deal with any post office hassles.

  • QWhat if my church does not have a NonProfit Mailing Permit?
    HideAnswer
    A

No problem. The US Postal system has special rates available for churches and other nonprofit organizations. The process of obtaining these rates is free and easy. You will need to download USPS Form 3624 (This form does not require a permit application fee.) Follow the instructions and take to the nearest Post Office.

  • QWhat do I do after I receive my NonProfit Status from my local Post Office?
    HideAnswer
    A

The next step is simply filling out the PS3623 Form & your permission letter so that we can mail on your behalf from our local post office. Fax your “approval to mail at non-profit rates letter” to us along with these additional forms and d2 will handle the rest.

  • QWhat if I already have a NonProfit Mailing Permit?
    HideAnswer
    A

If you currently have a nonprofit postage permit for your church then you were already authorized as far as the post office is concerned. The next step is simply filling out the PS3623 Form & your permission letter so that we can mail on your behalf from our local post office.

  • QWhat will my postage rate be?
    HideAnswer
    A

The current saturation price for nonprofit organizations is 6.7 cents per piece. Your postage can increase based on features that you wish to add to your mailing list.
